Yes, you read that right: Academy-Award wining Sean Penn wanted to do more of James Franco.  No, no, we don't mind if you take a moment for that to sink in. As-far-as-we-know straight daddy-in-training Sean Penn is on the record as having wanted to get more than a small peck out of his scenes with Franco.

And who can blame him, especially with that very-sexy 70's 'stache Franco's working in part of the film?  We want those bristles all over our backsides here at HOM.  And Sean's nose tells us all we need to know about what we'd be doing with him.

James Franco and Sean Penn from "Milk"

Franco says Sean Penn pushed the gay sex scenes in "Milk" further than he expected.  Franco told Elle Magazine in November, "In the original script I read, there was only one real kissing scene. A month after Gus [Van Sant] asked me to do it, they sent me another script, and on page five there was a full-on love scene. And I was like, “Gus, what the heck?” He says, “Well, it was Sean’s idea.” Sean figured, he’s doing a gay role, so people are going to be sitting in the movies thinking, When is he going to kiss another guy? They’re just waiting for the sex, so you might as well get it out of the way—boom—and they won’t be thinking about it anymore."

So maybe going the extra mile for his, ummm "art" is what pushed Sean over the hump and won him that Best Actor Oscar Sunday night.  Mr. Penn was already high on our list for even doing Milk, but after this revelation all we can say is that our heartfelt thoughts, well-wishes, and extremely hot and heavy fantasies go out to Sean ... and that he and James Franco might get a chance to 'act' together again sometime in the very near future.  Maybe we can get them to be in our next Real Couples video... Hmmmmm.
